2. Pickling
The main purpose of copper and copper alloy pickling is to remove the oxide layer generated during processing, and is usually used in conjunction with grinding to improve the surface quality of the strip. Copper and copper alloys are pickled by continuous passing type. With the continuous improvement of machine speed, the passing time in pickling tank is generally less than 30 seconds. Therefore, different from traditional immersion pickling, the quality of pickling depends on a series of factors such as oxide layer properties of different alloy varieties, degreasing effect and oxidation degree of incoming material surface, according to different alloy varieties, the correct selection of acid composition, according to the strip surface oxidation status and specifications to adjust the speed of the train through, pay attention to the intermediate annealing before degreasing treatment, improve the quality of annealing protection to reduce the degree of oxidation of the strip and other process measures, is to ensure the production efficiency of the train and the quality of pickling.
3. Grinding cleaning
Grinding cleaning is generally carried out at the same time as pickling. Its function is to remove the reaction layer left by pickling on the copper surface and polish the copper surface. Modern continuous cleaning lines are equipped with grinding cleaning equipment. 4. Anti-oxidation treatment
At present, most copper and copper alloy itself is alkaline, easy to lose electron oxidation. In particular, there are potential differences between various elements of copper alloy itself, so it is easy to corrode and change color in hot and humid environment. Therefore, preventing discoloration after copper cleaning is an important process of surface cleaning.






There are many kinds of anti-discoloration inhibitors for copper and copper alloys, among which BTA and BTA-induced fatty acid ammonia compounds are the most widely used. Alkyl amide corrosion inhibitors form a stable protective film on the surface of copper and copper alloys. In order to further improve the passivation performance of copper, the general passivator is a compound passivator based on BTA. In the continuous cleaning machine column, passivation process is often used for copper strip treatment before drying, and can also be added to degreasing solution or pickling solution to complete degreasing and pickling at one time, which is called composite treatment process.
